Balotade® X is a professional, five-point leather breastplate, designed for show jumping and intensive sports training. Made of soft but exceptionally durable buffalo leather, it guarantees reliable saddle position even during dynamic, demanding sessions.

The central point of the breastplate features a characteristic leather insert in the shape of the letter “X”, which evenly distributes pressure on the horse’s chest and prevents the saddle from shifting. Additionally, double fastenings on the sides and the girth strap guarantee maximum stability, even when jumping or hacking out.

Comfort above all

The Balotade® X breastplate is equipped with elastic inserts at the saddle attachment points, which increase freedom of movement and reduce the risk of chafing. All areas in contact with the horse’s skin are carefully lined with soft padding, ensuring high comfort even during longer training sessions. The snap hooks allow for quick attachment to the girth, similarly to models with a martingale.
