Hackamore is a bite that allows you to transfer the pressure from the inside of the horse’s mouth to its nasal bone. Many horses prefer this type of contact and respond better to it. So if you do not know yet what type of bit is right for your horse, the hackamore is a must on the list to test.
It is an ideal solution for horses that do not accept bits , as well as those that have malocclusions or other problems that prevent the proper operation of a traditional bit.
Hackamore is also great as a temporary bit in the period following teeth making. And as you know, it is good to perform this procedure at least once a year.
The nose part is made of natural leather , lined with a very soft, thick pad. Its anatomical shape and optimal width guarantee gentle action.
The cups are made entirely of stainless steel.
