Balotade® X jumping breastplate made of soft but durable buffalo leather. Designed for the most demanding riders. Due to the relatively wide, X-shaped leather insert, adjacent to the horse’s chest at the appropriate height and fastened twice on both sides of the saddle, this type of breastplate prevents the saddle from sliding during jumps, even at high obstacles.
The five-point adjustable clasp allows a very precise adjustment of the breastplate, even for horses with a non-standard build. Thanks to this, the saddle is very stable on the horse’s back and does not move during jumps. The breastplate is anatomical , thanks to which it fits perfectly to the horse and provides maximum freedom.
The Balotade X jumping breastplate is attached to the girth with a carabiner and can be easily released at this point, just like a martingale. The fastening that runs to the saddle has a stretch-resistant, elastic insert on both sides, which provides the horse with maximum comfort in movement.
For even greater comfort, we have used soft lining where the horse’s skin is most exposed to abrasions. All metal parts are made of silver-colored stainless steel.
